New E4F Video: James Leggett and the Fight to Save Small Businesses in #Brooklyn
Meet James Leggett of James Fabrics located at 608 Flatbush Ave in Flatbush, Brooklyn . His business like other small, family owned businesses are the lifeblood of #Brooklyn. Our campaign Before It's Gone // Take It Back (B4G) is committed to fighting to ensure that Brooklyn residents, tenants, and homeowners can stay in our communities for the long haul. We are advocating for the Small Business Jobs Survival Act, which would guarantee businesses ten-year leases and the right to negotiation powers with their landlords. Join our fight against #gentrification and in support of power and resilience in our communities!"
