It's the little things...

Little by little we see gentrification creeping upon us. As white neighbors move in, improvements are made on the building. When I moved here 2 years ago we got a new paint job in the hallways. Since then we've had better lighting and new lamps put up, and cameras installed. It's pretty upsetting and disgusting that the landlord didn't consider long-term tenants important enough to have these things before. Let's hope we can mobilize together as neighbors to build tenant power against developers and landlords who will try to take advantage of us.
