1/2/2018 Action Alert Ceiling Collapse at 425 Grand Ave - Report Coastline to 311

Before It's Gone //Take It Back January 2, 2018

1/2/2018 Action Alert Ceiling Collapse at 425 Grand Ave

This is not the first time that the Grand Putnam Tenants Association ahs been dealing with ceilings collapsing in their buildings due to over-construction of luxury units by Coastline Apartment Investors in the 3 buildings. Ongoing issues faced by tenants under Coastline's management have included the lack of heat and hot water, ongoing unauthorized and illegal construction, negligence and lack of maintenance, the absence of building superintendents, and harassment of tenants by the landlord.

From the Grand Putnam Tenant Association leadership “We are calling on the community to call 311 and report dangerous mold that’s been exposed by yesterday’s foyer ceiling collapse at 425 Grand Ave. We want our landlord, Coastline Apartment Investors to properly cleanup the mold, not do a shoddy patch/cover-up that allows mold to spread and endanger residents’ health. There is at least one pregnant person in the building, so this is of the utmost importance."

Please also call and hold Coastline accountable (347) 410-5764/8020
